What if I want a certain type of snow?
Polar Technologies USA can create any consistency of snow the event or project may require; from a wet icy base to fluffy white powder. Various consistencies of snow can be easily produced for the same event or project.
Can I eat the snow?
You bet! It's totally natural because it's real snow. It makes great snowmen too!
How long does it take to make the snow?
With a single set of portable snow making equipment Polar Technologies USA can produce snow in quantities of up to 12/14 tons per hour. The quantity produced in a given time period, is dependent upon the event and the consistency of snow desired. As a rule, we use an average of 10 tons per hour when estimating production times.

How much will the snow cost?
Because our snow is unique in every way each project warrants our individual attention. It is our desire to meet the needs of each client and to surpass their every expectation! To present a cost estimate we’ll need a written description of your event, along with the following specific information:
- Date of event

Please email us for further information or to ask questions. The staff of Polar Technologies USA looks forward to the opportunity to bring our real snow to you!
How is it made?
Polar’s snow is produced by mixing water, air and liquid nitrogen using both a patented equipment design and process. Polar Technologies USA holds the exclusive licensing agreement for this technology throughout the North American continent. No other company can produce REAL snow like ours.
How long does it last?
Because Polar Technologies USA creates real snow, it has exactly the same characteristics as naturally occurring snow. When created in reasonable amounts the snow will consolidate to insulate itself and will last for some time, dependent upon the following factors:
- Warm wind
- Fog (natural)
- Rain/thaw (running water)
- Traffic
- Heat (sun/ground)
The effects of these basic factors may be reduced, however, by implementing various snow preservation techniques developed by Polar Technologies USA.
